The Club
Founded in 1858 by a small number of enthusiastic oarsmen, the Club moved from the Strand to Rabindra Sarobar and has since carried its colours through the Merchants Cup, the Hooghly Cup and the Head of the Lake. Today it remains a working boathouse first — and a place of dining, ceremony and long friendships second.
